Subash

Subash is a serial entrepreneur and Founder of Vimtra Ventures LLC. Subash has over 25 years of industry experience in the global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) Industry, Startups, Private Equity, Venture Capital, business & financial Strategy, business advisory, restructuring, crisis management, corporate legal affairs, problem solving, statutory compliance & transaction management spanning North America, Asia – Pacific, Middle East and Far East Markets. Subash and his team have several investments in international funding, opportunity based funding in the Information technology, health care analytics, Pharma, life sciences & entertainment sectors. Subash had catered to the needs of the firm’s partners and investors, developing partnerships with technology corporations, creating and investing in Startups. He has successfully completed over 45 M&A transactions as an investor/Buyer. Subash founded and spin-out several successful Startup Information technology solutions firms prior to Co founding Vimtra. Subash has previously held C-level and board advisory positions to multinational firms in the information technology, infrastructure, real estate, financial and entertainment industries.

Subash has successfully negotiated and implemented countless plans of reorganization, assets sales, and settlements with creditors and have considerable experience counseling companies experiencing financial distress in matters such as corporate governance & financing.

Subash has wide ranging experience with distressed solutions representing lenders and borrowers of senior and mezzanine financing in many scenarios such as distressed real estate loans, including: Workouts, Restructurings, Foreclosures, Deeds in lieu of foreclosure, Receiverships, Prepackaged Chapter 11 cases, Cramdowns & Contested Chapter 11 cases.

Rao

Rao is the managing partner of Vimtra. Rao is a visionary entrepreneur who was instrumental in creating a global conglomerate. Rao has transformed his vision into building and mentoring various dynamic enterprises with strong and consistent growth over a period of 26 years. Rao has a proven track in growing companies and turn around businesses with unyielding focus on providing exceptional guidance on Business advisory, restructuring, infrastructure development, property management and investment management services.

Rao and his team have advised several investments in international funding, opportunity based funding in the infrastructure, real estate & manufacturing sectors.

Rao has deep expertise in the commercial real estate markets and development projects in North America and Indian markets and led within assignments associated with market research, feasibility studies, land premium negotiations, development projects and joint venture agreements. During this period, he was responsible for the provision of advice regarding property development, investment, and financial viability issues to a wide range of corporations, landowners and developers, as well as providing strategic advice and consultancy services to occupiers, retailers and investors. Rao has led projects for clients on individual project size ranging from 8 million dollars to approximately $120 million dollars globally.

Rao has advised clients in workouts and restructuring involving properties or portfolios of properties in North America & Asia, including office and industrial buildings, hotels, residential subdivisions, retail malls and shopping centers, and mixed-use properties

Rao has advised secured and unsecured creditors, loan servicers’, acquirers, and other interested parties in major debt restructurings. Rao has represented several companies whose business is the acquisition, development, and disposition of real estate, including public and private real estate funds, equity funds, and developers.

Surya

Surya heads up the technology advisory in Vimtra. Surya have more than 24 years IT Industry experience in various Senior Management and leadership roles. Surya currently involved in many start-ups in the capacity of investor, mentor and advisor. Surya is well regarded in e-Commence integration space and considered expert in ERP, e-Commerce in B2B space. Surya’s expertise span across strategy consulting, product innovation, quick-to-market strategies, Business Plan evaluations, Program Management, Channel partnership management and IT Services. Surya have master’s degree in computer science.

Surya previously worked in various positions at Robert Bosch, Office Depot, Numeric Technologies, Intel, Gilbert, GSA, Chevron, ADP, Warner Brothers, Ansett Australia airlines and Ryder etc. Surya also worked in various state and local governments.

Harry

Harry is a Senior advisor of Vimtra. He has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services industry assisting large financial institutions to navigate the complex regulatory and economic environment, specializing in complex operational and technology transformation efforts. Harry is an active Mentor and board adviser to over 20 successful mid to large size corporations across Asia. Harry has actively lead multiple “due diligence” assignments requiring the analysis of major capital projects

Harry advises clients in matters involving economic and financial issues, and has managed hundreds of consulting and litigation support assignments. Harry is an expert in matters relating to securities, valuation of complex derivatives and intellectual property, insider trading, financial market microstructure, financial strategy, acquisition analysis. intangible assets, transfer pricing, interests in closely-held firms, warrants, restricted stock and other complex contingent securities, and purchase price allocation studies.

Harry specializes in financial, reimbursement, regulatory compliance, litigation support and operational activities. His experience includes across the board verticals.

Michelle

Michelle is a Partner in the New York. She is responsible for identifying the complex issues our clients face and developing tactical responses and solutions to assist them with Vimtra's advisory services. She acts as a liaison between the clients and Vimtra's professionals by listening and empathizing with client needs, then providing holistic solutions through collaborative teams of multidisciplinary experts.

Michelle has more than 30 years experience as a trusted advisor, advocate and resource to the legal and accounting professions, corporate executives, directors and their accounting, human capital, insurance and legal advisors, where she has assisted in the development of complex strategies for resolving issues both domestically and internationally.

Peter

Peter is a Partner and leader in the business restructuring practice in Asia. Peter is skilled at executing capitalizations and operating restructuring of underperforming businesses, business unit divestitures, improving and managing cash flow, and developing profit improvement strategies. Peter has structured and overseen the successful reorganization and disposition of over 45 business units. He has also developed and implemented operational rehabilitation plans, and provided distressed investment banking and private placements in a variety of industries.

David

David is a partner in the Financial Services Management Consulting practice in the Middle East, David advises HNIs, investors, asset management firms and hedge funds on corporate strategy, financial regulation/compliance, and risk management issues. David leads Vimtra project management and technology teams in a variety of financial initiatives.

David provides expertise in financial, operational, organizational, and risk management matters to investors & lenders. Advising asset managers, insurance and government clients at the stakeholder level on the optimization on human capital, technology requirements and operational business models. His experience spans all asset types and demonstrates geographic diversity. David is an advisor to senior management teams in the Financial, Manufacturing and Banking sector.

Prem

Prem Kumar is a Partner in the Global Construction practice and has more than 20 years of experience in the infrastructure development industry. He has executed over 25 infrastructure projects, and was instrumental in operating greenfield residential and commercial projects. Prem has completed design, implementation and led the planning and design of several health care facilities. Prem has built over Ten Million Square Feet residential and commercial space spanning a budget of over $85 Million in multiple project value.

Balaji

Balaji is a partner in the infrastructure and property management practice of Vimtra. He has over 26 years of Industry experience involving Business advisory and Logistics management. He has skills and experience spanning small businesses and large corporations. His expertise in strategy and operations and exposure to business environments in Asia and Europe position him uniquely to deliver advice to that enables executives to realize their goals.

Balaji has a keen eye to minute details with a very practical, deal-oriented approach with excellent judgement, responsiveness towards protecting the stakeholders’ interest and offers creative restructuring solutions to debtors, creditors, commercial landlords, committees, asset purchasers, and third-party plan proponents. Balaji has successfully led the property management services for clients in India.
